Travis Kean
Background
Before becoming a lawyer, Travis worked various jobs including working on a database in the government, bartender, brickies labourer, and pallet maker to name a few. Travis has a background in working in Information Technology (“IT”) as well as a general interest in IT.
Travis graduated from the University of Notre Dame, with both a Bachelor of Laws, and a Bachelor of Commerce. Travis was then admitted to practice to both the Supreme Court of WA, and the High Court of Australia. Prior to establishing the firm in 2017, Travis gained experience in civil, criminal, and family law matters whilst working as a solicitor in small boutique firms.
Experience
The legal skillset from practicing in commercial litigation when Travis first started his legal career gave him a very methodical approach to the law. Travis applies this methodical approach to civil matters, as well as criminal, and family law matters which enables him to provide clients with clear, and practical advice. He acts as a strong advocate for his clients utilising his approach and experience in various court proceedings.
Outside of the office
Travis prioritises time with his family, and his passion for anything on two wheels.
