Please note that you can not make an Extraordinary Drivers Licence Application (EDL) if you have been disqualified from driving under a demerit point suspension.
If you have been disqualified for reasons other than a demerit point suspension then call our office to find out if you are able to make an Extraordinary Drivers Licence Application (EDL).
The first step is to book an initial consultation at our office where we will discuss your matter with you, advise of any waiting periods and look at any paperwork you have provided.
Next, we will ask that you provide our office with supporting documentation to form part of your supporting affidavit and an Extraordinary Drivers Licence Application (EDL).

We will then prepare your Extraordinary Drivers Licence Application (EDL) based on your instructions to be filed with the Court. You will have to pay the Court Fees when your Extraordinary Drivers Licence Application (EDL) is filed with the Court. You may have to wait to file your application due to the applicable waiting periods.
The Court will provide a Court date for the hearing of your matter and we will represent you at this hearing. You will need to attend this hearing with any witnesses that you require to give evidence. At this hearing, a Magistrate will hear the evidence and make a decision based on that evidence.
We provide a service whereby a prior appointment you may attend our offices for an initial consultation limited to one hour for a booking fee of $300.00. There is no obligation to engage our services after the initial consultation.
